Home School Tutoring Support

The Homeschool Support Section was established after identifying children coming for homework support, who were not coping in the traditional big classroom environment, due to being too slow, too fast or lacking concentration or focus. These would be children who would cope better in a home education set up, with more attention. QEAC provides tutoring support to homeschooled students. We are registered to use learning material supplied by IMPAQ. The material is based on the National Curriculum requirements and is CAPS compliant. It comprises of study guides, tasks, tests and exams to complete the learning portfolio required by the Department of Education (DBE). With this curriculum, children can do Grade R to Grade 12 and obtain their National Senior Certificate (NSC), matric certificate, through SACAI (South African Comprehensive Assessment Institute), which is an examining board that is approved by UMALUSI along with the DBE for public schools and IEB (Independent Examining board) for private schools in South Africa.
